There's something fresh about moving your space around, livening up the energy in space. My co-workers and I discussed last week that we think we should shake things up in the office again, move the desks and aim at solving some of our sound and focus issues.
As a kid, I would pour over log home magazines and use graph paper to draw out my own visions of floor plans for my dream home. I loved it.
I did a bit of brainstorming and drafted a quick floorplan of how we could rework our office space, resolving some of our pain-points of how sound carries through the office and creating space for heads-down quiet time and all-in collaborative time -- for meetings with clients and across project teams. Space for introverts and extroverts, privacy and openness.
PS. I didn't post yesterday, since we were out most of the day traveling and visiting family. Time well spent.
